The Incredible Years Parenting Programme - School Age.
For parents with children ages 4 - 10 years

The Incredible Years evidence -based programmes for parents, teachers and children reduce challenging behaviour in children and increase their social emotional learning and self control skills.

Dr Webster-Stratton began developing and researching the Incredible Years programmes 30 years ago.The courses have been translated into many languages and are being used in over 24 countries.

The course is a step-by-step programme using child-directed play to encourage positive behaviours using persistent, emotional and social coaching to include: praise, effective commands, ignoring, spontaneous and tangible rewards. We work through the Parenting Pyramid.

By the end of the course you will feel confident in your parenting, and have a toolbox full of different strategies to use when needed.

Parenting courses are for everyone - life is busy,  we don't give ourselves time to think or reflect. Parenting courses encourage you to celebrate the great job you are doing and gives you the opportunity to talk about issues that affect all parents . The course will help you find alternative ways to tackle situations.

It brings people together with one common goal - positive parenting.

The course runs for 2 hours each week over a period of 12 weeks.
On completion all participants receive a certificate.
